Original artwork description:

I thought these three white ducks were well worth recapturing on canvas. I liked the contrast of the white against the dark blue background.

I start the canvas with a rough pencil sketch and then I add the coloured paper before building up the layers with acrylic paint. The last thing I add are the embellishments of thread, beads, buttons and glitter to pick out or highlight certain areas.
