Original Abstract Mixed Media Painting

"Three Trees" juxtaposes the hard and the soft, by incorporating an ombre background which blends from green to blue to purple, representing earth and sky. Three trees are featured, with the largest in the middle, using an impasto pointillism technique that I like to call "Paintillism" for the leaves to give the painting more depth by giving the leaves a 3D look with texture. These organic soft natural elements are juxtaposed with the bold graphic white lines which create geometric forms.
