A little dive and dig into the archives to find an old favourite of mine. This was shot on a very cold winter's day back in my home town Namsos in Norway. I was visiting on my Christmas holidays and on this particularly cold day I thought I'd take my old trusted Bronica SQ for a walk. I love it when it's misty - it has a certain mystic fairy tale atmosphere.
I was walking close to the river's edge when I saw these three trees really popped out of the landscape (although in a very subtle way) and I quickly took a meter reading and snapped it before the mist quickly changed the look of the landscape. Within a few minutes it was almost completely clear, so I was very happy to have had captured the moment and continued my walk by the water's edge to snap some more wintry landscapes.
This was shot on good old analogue transparency film and then later digitalised.
