Painted from live flowers gathered and arranged by the artist. Features a row of three golden sunflower heads surrounded by red, burgundy, pink, and yellow dahlias, roses in variegated peach and pink, and accented by blue delphinium blossoms. The shapes of the flower petals are enhanced by thick paint applied with palette knife. The flowers are set against a background of textured brushstrokes in blue, purple, and pink. Painted in oil on 1" thick stretched canvas. The painting continues onto the sides for a "gallery wrap" look that is ready to hang as it is, or may be framed if desired. A show-stopping piece, bursting with joy, movement, color, and life.
