These three bronze-age standing stones are located in the village of Trellech in Wales where I live. Nobody knows for sure why they were originally erected, but it was probably either for seasonal observations or for religious regions. They are a great source of interest and attract visitors throughout the year.
The field in which they sit is farmland, which is often used for sheep. The sheep add to the pastoral scene, and can often be seen grazing around the base of the stones.
The painting is unframed on a gallery-wrap canvas that has the sides painted - it can be hung on the wall as it is, or framed.
