June 2022. 30 x 40 x 1.5 inches on Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Unframed / Acrylic Painting / Ready to hang / Sides will be painted White. (16 layers) 'Textured/Layered Abstract Painting'. Painted with palette knives. I added several layers of primer before adding my main layers-I do this to give the canvas a stronger appearance. I have created 3 main Contrasts for the top layer with this canvas. My intentions influenced by a free flowing expression in my mind for this painting. I created underneath the main layer 3 other layers. I was not sure what direction to take with it after the 2nd main layer, I knew I wanted to create something with a vivid color expression for this canvas. I decided to use a mix of colors in my head. Then I started to focus on the Colors & patterns I wanted to create for the top layer. This took me a few days to realize what I wanted to do with the top layer. I decided to use a contrast of Oranges, shades of Yellows, and Bright Aqua Green which brought out the painting. gave me more clarity. The textured palette strokes give the canvas a richer appearance for the human eye. There are small details that are hard to pick up with my photographs. The painting can be hung 4 different directions - so there is 2 Vertical hangings and 2 Horizontal hangings. Felt pads included on backside corners. Signed on the backside and Certificate of Authenticity included with the painting 1/1.

***PLEASE note: Lighting will make a huge difference in the mood of this painting-as with any painting. Overhead/Canned/Spot Lighting is the best or indirect Lighting. Never direct Sunlight. Wall colors also will make a difference with a painting. I have taken my photos outdoors in direct Sun light. I have used my Apple Tablet to take these photos. The colors from the Apple Tablet camera are remarkably exact to the original painting. I always have the painting setting next to me when I post my photos online to make sure the colors are true to painting.
