Original artwork description:

Painted on-site at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN. Features a group of autumn trees with foliage in shades of red, burgundy, pink, and cream. The trees rest on a hillside of fallen leaves against a bright blue sky. Behind the red trees, the leaves and trunks of redbuds can be seen, with their large yellow-green leaves illuminated in the afternoon sun .
Painted with oil over casein on board. The casein paint in the sky has a matte texture which contrasts with the oil paint. The oil paint has been thickly applied with palette knife to enhance the texture of the foliage.
Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a mahogany colored finish. May be purchased unframed by request. Total dimensions with frame are 24x30x1"
