Painted on-site at Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. Features a group of three maple trees, rich with late autumn gold. The tree tops cluster together, forming a canopy. Evergreen trees, grasses, and a walking path are glimpsed in the background. Painted in oil over casein paint on board. The trees in the painting also contain iridescent gold and bronze paint, which add a subtle shimmer. Framed in a wood frame with moulded decoration and a gold finish.
