There's a tradition of village shows in the UK; wonderful, varied days out with all kinds of fun entertainment ranging from gymkhana, dog shows, motorbike displays and vintage tractors, all the way to sheepdogs herding geese! I saw the goose herding at the Dilwyn show, Herefordshire last summer and I had fun painting these geese, they seem like real characters!
