Artwork description:

This photograph was actually taken in the neighborhood I grew up in with my two brothers, which is where the name comes from. It was taken at night with a flash and inverted, so black turns to white and white to black, which is how the background looks white. And makes it look like a painting, because essentially the inversion changes light to paint. Less light, less paint, like in the background.
