Original artwork description:

Those who give hope. They are among us. And they give hope to animals, people, and me that humankind does not fall into an abyss of soullessness, cruelty, and profit. They are like Atlanteans that come to the rescue in a difficult moment carrying the world's weight on their shoulders. They keep faith in humanity.
The artwork was inspired by Ukrainian volunteers who helped Irpin residents leave the city during the Russian invasion in 2022. Thanks to them women and children, elderly people, and pets were transported over the destroyed bridge over the Irpin River under constant shelling.
My artwork is a letter of gratitude to everyone who supports those in need in hard times.
The print from this artwork was on the exhibition "Volunteers in the Battle for Life and Freedom" (Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2023)
Original watercolor 40x50cm (~16x20in). The artwork is unique and one of a kind.
