The woman on my painting is enjoying 'Treachery Of Images' also known as 'This Is Not A Pipe' by Rene Magritte who painted it when he was 30 years old.

This much discussed picture shows a pipe, but below it, Magritte wrote: 'Ceci n'est pas une pipe', French for 'This is not a pipe.'

And that is of course true to some extent: the painting is not a pipe, but rather an image of a pipe. As is my painting not a Magritte, but rather an image of a painting by Magritte. Hence the title: 'This Is Not A Magritte'.
