I strive, by letting go of logic/control, to allow my paintings to reflect my belief in an underlying energy that flows and connects all life. ‘Entheos’ (enthusiasm) meaning ‘The God within’ sums up for me how each and every one of us has the potential to realise our true place and potential, not through an external deity, but a force that lies within, below the self, with all its desires and dreams. Quantum scientists are only just beginning to realise the power of manifestation, how what once seemed impossible and contrary to logic works on the atomic and hence every other level of being. Life is the miracle, living in full gratitude of this gift our way of offering thanks. And the fact that our time comes to an end, without any spiritual afterlife (my prognosis), making this mortal plain all the more miraculous, once we come to have a deep and unconditional appreciation in it:
