Original artwork description:

'This Fall ls So Deep' primarily represents Donald Trump's attitude toward climate change and the withdrawal from the Paris Agreement. The title refers to the relative stability in the world under Barack Obama and the sharp contrast to President Trump.

All of the progress that had been made on a number of issues, particularly of race and healthcare; the breakthrough of relations with Cuba, seem to have been undone and the drop in compassion and intelligence, to me, seem huge.

The orange hot-head echoes the colour of the dead leaves below, whilst the evermore transparent woods appear to be the bulging veins of the worlds most powerful man, who was elected in the fall of 2016.

A concerned nature lover looks into the fragile future. used a portrait landscape to emphasise the drop, whilst also blending a portrait and a landscape. The canvas is painted in oil, applied with sponges, palette knives are used in the foreground of leaves.

And now he's back again...

Materials used:

Oil & gesso on deep edge canvas. Painted with sponges and brushes.
