Original artwork description:
A large figure painting, the third in a recent series of paintings in which the figure is engaged in thought. The colours used , mainly blues, pale violet and yellows are soft but light and airy. Thinking things over has a calm presence creating a feeling of contemplation. Drawn from a life model in the studio and painted in lots of glazed layers with acrylic paint.
O the reverse side is another painting of two female figures! This often happens in my work, when I run out of boards or canvases so just paint on the other side of whatever I have available. So you have two paintings for the price of one!
