Oil and cold wax on cradled wooden panel.
This is a painting looking back to my past. Before I started painting I worked with horses and they were my whole life. This painting is like a murky dream, horse shapes shifting in the darkness, I think this in part because I often dream about horses, and in part because working with horses in the Winter is one of those jobs where you feel that you are in constant darkness.
