Original artwork description:

My painting uses graffiti techniques and lettering to deal with ever encroaching noise. I have used florescent paints for intensity, and to suggest dissent. I create a space for reflection despite the ‘Noise’ of society in the form of letters, numbers, symbols and livid colour. It is a contemporary painting and the abstracted nature of the environment creates a counterpoint to the human vulnerable solitary figure.
