Original artwork description:

An acrylic painting painted on a handmade canvas board capturing a scene of the rural east coast of Scotland.
Traditional lace is imprinted into thick gesso picking out the textures of the landscape. Flowers from the location are embedded and incorporated into the work. The moody sky highlighting the temperamental weather that can change in an instant.
Made building up layers of acrylic paint and acrylic glaze medium and rubbed back to reveal previous layers, this adds to the depth and texture of this painting.
