It’s hard not to lose yourself in the pursuit of your life’s work. Years of what seems like rejection, being passed over, and seeing people around you blossom can turn you into a monster. It’s a sickening and maddening darkness that creeps into you. The magic is staying focused and centered despite all of this. Don’t let the darkness turn you into the monster.
