Theory - Oil On Canvas - Ryan Louder 2017_x000D_ Theory is an exploration into the mind of a mathematician puzzling over a mathematical problem. "I can imagine a world where music and pictures fill my head because that is the world I know but I cant envisage what it must be like to view a world through numbers, how different to my thinking it must be"._x000D_ _x000D_ _x000D_ My oil painting technique is this! _x000D_ I scrape away with the brush till I feel something for the face. Like seeing a friend. Then I scrape some more and I spot they're sad or happy, devastated excited, in a crisis or having the best time ever. Just like spotting a friends not happy or they're excited I keep asking questions with the paintbrush because my paintbrush just has to get to the bottom of what's going on in their lives. Once the paintbrush gets the full story evident in the face, I put the brush down and I'm done_x000D_ _x000D_ All artworks come signed either on back or on front as specified with a certificate of authenticity. They are carefully protected and packaged and sent using the best couriers. I’m a London-based artist, and my work often reflects vivid and surreal imagery inspired by my unique experience with REM intrusion—a condition where dream-like visions can appear while I’m awake. My paintings explore the boundary between waking reality and the dream world, using layered compositions to create a sense of depth and movement. I paint with high-quality materials and put a lot of thought into texture and detail. My process is a mix of intuitive brushwork and deliberate layering, aiming to create pieces that are rich in emotion and invite you to see something new each time you look at them.
