My painting evolved from my brush drawing of a dramatic Japanese model. It alludes to different aspects of Woman and Love for the viewer to consider. At left, the Japanese Kanji script symbolizes Love (facing head). At right, the Kanji script symbolises Woman (back of head).
Working on this picture, I remembered some stunning traditional and modern Japanese theatre I saw performed at World Expo 88, Brisbane, Australia.
Carefully & securely packed (flat) to avoid damage in transit.
