Rising to a height of 1335 feet above the Shropshire Plain UK, The Wrekin (pronounced ree-kin) is a prominent and well-known landmark. Formed in large part from volcanic rock some 560 million years ago but contrary to local folklore it was never a volcano in it's own right.
This is one of my favourite views. In the quiet stillness of a summer morning as the early mist gives way to the warmth of the day, the Wrekin can be heard to whisper . . .
The painting is initialed on the front and signed on the back along with the title and date. It is presented in high quality bespoke mid-gray coloured wood frame, with cream slip (surround) which will suit most interior environments.
I ship worldwide using Royal Mail/Parcelforce tracked, insured and signed for.
