The World Famous Bob, photograph capturing their Burlesque performance in Hollywood, LA. Richard Heeps became well-known for his Burlesque photography as he captured performances in Britain & America. Spending a lot of time with his subjects on several occasions he achieved more intimate pictures. He began this before the cultural phenomenon of Burlesque, on the brink of the new movement which was a form of interpretation and innovation. His connection to it was sparked from his Rockabilly links built over the seven years he spent working towards his 2007 book 'Man's Ruin' which features many artworks from his Burlesque series.
This artwork is a limited edition gloss photographic print, presented in a museum board white window mount. It is signed and numbered on reverse accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
