A large seascape realistically depicting the movement and contrasts of the sea in a strong wind. The foam on the rocks feature in the foreground and create many interesting textures and painterly effects.
I have enjoyed painting this as on a of series each testing myself further with this fascinating subject . Daily observation of the sea so near to where I live enables me to capture the wild weather and the sense of distance, colour, translucence and shapes of the ever changing sea.
