'The White Rhino' is from a new series of images entitled 'Endangered'. This series of images comprises photographs of stunning mammals captured by Lindsay Robertson.

The image of this White Rhino is an original photograph. To achieve this image Lindsay worked closely with the safari park where the animal lives. As ever great patience and respect toward the animal was needed as there is a no 'hands on' approach to animals within the park.

Lindsay wishes to challenge our perception of how we see animals within an environment. His images of these animals are created in the surreal surrounding of the portable studio, which challenges our fixed view of how these animals are seen. The starkness and scale of the background places the animals within a perspective which seems unreal. Coupled with skilful lighting his work portrays these amazing animals as they are not usually seen. To be able to study and appreciate the detail, textures and character of the animals is what Lindsay strives to achieve.

Each Fine Art Hand Made Print is a signed original chromogenic photographic print (traditional C-type print - not inkjet). The image size is 36" x 21" printed onto a paper size of 40" x 25" (2" white border surrounding the image). The signature is placed bottom right within the white border.
