Original artwork description:

The artwork here for sale is a unique painting done by me in 2020-2021 in Berlin. It is a large painting 155 cm wide x 200 cm long. This piece is titled "The Web Crawler". In my painting a huge machine appears as the main character, it has become a large steel spider, camouflaging itself among a large bush of branches, leaves and beautiful flowers. Nature and machine have become one. All these bushes symbolically represent in my painting all the people who use the internet on a daily basis. This great spider-machine is the symbolism of a not too distant dystopian future that awaits us. Based on the systematic control that we will experience little by little as we depend more and more on the virtual world. In my painting we can also see that the head of this huge mechanical spider is a security camera, very similar to those we see in buildings or somewhere else in any city. This camera is also slightly camouflaged among small tree branches. It is the symbolism of hidden vigilance that watches us, metamorphosing between natural beauty, thus becoming a mass surveillance system. This part of the painting reminds us of the famous character "Big Brother is watching you" from Orwell's famous 1984 novel. As a summary, this painting can give much more for different opinions, based on the different topics already mentioned. We can get deeper into this great spider web of the virtual world and get lost among the branches of information metaphors.

My works are part of international art collectors based in: Berlin, San Juan, Los Angeles, Paris, Argentina, Singapore, Bogotá, New York and Madrid.
