Original artwork description:

One cold February day last year I visited my old home in Aberdeenshire , North East Scotland. This old avenue of Beech trees formed a canopy over the road and led me to an ancient Standing stone. I loved the deep blue shadows on the road and on the trees themselves. It felt like a special place. So much so that this is the second picture inspired by my visit there. The first one being ' The Old Tree by the Standing Stone' This picture is mounted and framed under glass with a silver frame ,echoing the silver bark of the trees. Just magical!
