Medium: Acrylic on gallery-wrapped (staples out of sight at the back), stretched, cotton canvas<br>
Colours: Teal, turquoise, blue, white, red, orange, metallic gold<br>
Size: 30" x 40" x 0.9" <br>
Created: 2013<br>
Inspiration: One of my favourite books is Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo and this painting was inspired both by the front cover and one of the crucial points in the story.

This is an original, abstract impasto painting on canvas. This painting was created using heavy-body acrylic paints on gallery-wrapped, cotton stretched canvas. It was painted using a knife to create texture.
<br><br>
The painting will arrive with you ready to hang and finished in UV protective gloss varnish. The sides are painted so there is no need to frame unless you particularly wish to.
<br><br>
The painting will come signed both on the front and back and also with a registered Certificate of Authenticity affixed to the back with a unique digital ID number from EBSQ. You will be able to go online to claim and register the painting as your own or in the name of the person you are buying it for.
