This beautiful impressionist artwork was inspired by visiting the wonderful gardens of Great Dixter, this is the second time I have painted the walled garden and i wanted to highlight the wonderful lacecap Hydrangeas.
The work was created on canvas size 50x60cm with lots of heavy body paint applied with a palette knife giving the painting texture .It is signed on the front sold unframed( colour extends around the edge of the canvas}and ready to hang. All of my paintings are carefully wrapped and packed , shipped and tracked within four days of receiving orders.
