In this work, I have taken F. Hayez's ‘The Council of Vengeance’ as a reference, in order to initiate a project I am very fond of, namely ‘making the old masters dialogue with mass culture’, combining pop strategies and suggestions with the art of the past. Pursuing the theme of the role of women . They are represented as much in their seductive power as in their most intimate fragility. Representing women in their complexity, victims of a destiny they did not choose. The MOON is its guarantor and witness. It is no coincidence that I place the moon, shining and silent guardian next to women's bodies. The moon is the maternal feminine archetype par excellence. The lunar feminine is mysterious and ambiguous, it has the power to see beyond, to illuminate the shadowy areas of the soul.
Printing on the back of a 0.5 cm thick sheet of Plexiglas or acrylic glass gives the image a very high transparency, high weather resistance, durability, elegance and originality. The colours will be bright and clean, enhanced by the transparency of the material. Acrylic glass or Plexiglas prints impress with their great depth, which makes for a high-quality, professional-looking work. A photo on acrylic glass looks like an exhibition in an art gallery.
