Original artwork description:

There's a nice shady park on one side of Orvieto with a view towards the medieval area of the town. I painted this en plein air one summer morning in July when the sun was shining and the hills in the background where hazy.
This painting is part of my Orvieto Series that was painted the last two weeks in July while staying with friends in the Umbrian town.
