Artwork description:

This linocut print shows a view of some wild grasses and ferns by the side of a country road in Shropshire, UK.

It is a limited variable edition of 30, a one layer print using what remained of the linocut block used during the making of the ‘The Verge, version 1’ reduction linocut print. Printed on either UNICA Fabriano paper, Zerkall smooth paper or Clairefontaine Japanese Simili Printmaking Paper using Lawrence oil-based inks, the printed area is 27cm x 58cm with a generous margin to allow for framing.

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.

As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube. If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!

UNICA Fabriano printing paper, 250gsm, Zerkall smooth printing paper, 145gsm or Clairefontaine Japanese Simili Printmaking Paper, 130 gsm. Lawrence linseed oil relief ink.
