Artwork description:

This linocut print shows a view of some wild grasses and ferns by the side of country road in Shropshire, UK.

It is an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image. It is a limited variable print from an edition of 17 on either UNICA Fabriano printing paper, 250gsm or Zerkall smooth printing paper, 145gsm, and Lawrence oil-based inks. The image size is 27cm x 60.5cm with a generous margin to allow for framing.

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.

As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube. If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!
