Beauty compared, the classical and the modern.
Aphrodite, the most significant representation of female beauty, compared with a modern Venus, on a dark night, illuminated by the moon. The mystery of seduction remains unsolved. Both beauties are the undisputed protagonists. Everything here revolves around those extraordinary, captivating female forms, which exalt themselves, offering security, well-being, serenity. Despite the reddish and gloomy tones of some works, others are described in a more serene manner, female nudes that have always inspired great and small geniuses alike. I aim to represent women in their complexities, whether they are seductresses or victims. Victims of a destiny not chosen. Research, imagination, ranging beyond the limits of traditional techniques with the help of new digital technologies, to create a world made of dreams, visions. The technique is mixed, digitally processed photographs on canvas, or as in this case on a wooden panel, on which the colour and the added scenography magically drop me in the middle of an ideal stage.
The work is authentic and executed by me in one piece.
