The Velvet Shore is a digital photomontage inspired by Derwent Water in the Lake District, Cumbria. It is a place I visit regularly and as you walk around the lake you are just enveloped in the soft lush vivid green covering everything. This image has been created by layering and juxtaposing up to 50 different original photographic details to create an entirely new scene, which hopefully captures a sense of this wild, but deeply moving landscape but leaves room for your own imagination.

The print is shipped flat within the UK and rolled in a box when shipped to the rest of the world.
