Original artwork description:

The Upward Look was inspired by a real upward look I took while sitting on a chair at one of my favorite places in Sofia - The Rose House, a small pub with a nice yard in front of it and a fading rose facade. There are few trees in the yard that keep it cool even in the hottest summer days. Unfortunately the place was taken over by some new brisk guys that have made it very "cool and state-of-the-art" and of course doubled the prices of every item they offer.
So, while sitting in my chair I looked up and what I saw was an interesting geometric/minimalistic composition, the impression of which I have transferred on the canvas.
