The picture is a homage to Leonardo da Vinci on his five hundredth anniversary (1519), a universal genius who worked throughout his life as a painter, sculptor, architect, scientist, engineer, anatomist and natural philosopher.
Like a peeling masonry, the paintings and drawings, which were made 500 years ago, appear very tenderly on the artwork. The Mona Lisa, a portrait of Leonardo da Vinci himself, the Vitruvian man, drawings of various people, studies of body parts and at the very end, at the bottom of the picture, almost invisible, the Last Supper, that he created during his stay at the court of Duke Ludovico Sforza in the years 1482-1499. Admired and respected by princes and powerful people, Leonardo da Vinci also spent time in the Vatican and serving the French king. This man was and still is an enrichment of humanity.
