The day was rainy and fog had descended on our little cottage. On a morning walk dressed in the required raincoat and galoshes we stumbled upon this. Maine in its infinite glory presented a special beautiful opportunity. This beautiful natural seaside garden nestled in the rock cracks grew to be magnificent. Was it tended by some hand? I'll never know but, the beauty of it's natural wildness will never be forgotten. This is an acrylic painting on canvas with wood stretchers. Many many glazes to create the foggy day and detailed work on the rocks make this a mini gem for your wall. It is painted on all sides and can be hung with or without a frame but has been framed in a black wood floating frame which makes the subject POP!
