THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING - PLEXI 50X70 BLACK FRAME
The lightness of being, that is, the idea of life as an ephemeral and elusive shadow, a desire for ‘lightness’, distancing oneself from the real world, seeing from above, with detachment, the chaos that surrounds us, contemporary chaos, defying gravity. Lightness as freedom from any ideology, from any constituted truth. Light-heartedness, together with irony, in order to forget, to stop for a moment and rediscover ourselves. The lightness of being is wonderful, while the heaviness of being, i.e. moral and sentimental commitment, is terrible. At the centre of this work is the sensual and provocative woman, feminine and almost distant ... where the world around her ‘frames’ her in an almost surreal way. Female figures, vibrant with vitality, who bare their dreams and inspirations of modern, spectacular, emancipated, shameless and independent women. Seduction' is the red thread that binds all the works with the female image becoming an emblem in which a sophisticated and elusive sensualism remains underground and secret.

The ‘multiples’ of art, give the possibility of having a work of art without spending a lot. Becoming a collector is possible, all it takes is a small budget. Author's multiples represent a way of distributing works of art, available at a lower price than a single work, and accessible to a wider public, as they are produced in limited quantities, retouched by hand, checked, numbered and signed by the author. Certified and authenticated. It should be emphasised that these are always works of art, expressed in the artistic language of the author's multiples. This does not mean having a copy of the original, but a piece that the author has produced specifically for that expressive medium, in continuous dialogue with the rest of his own production.
