Original artwork description:

'The Truth is Simple' is the first in this new series where the focus of the work is the exploration of black and white and how one compliments the other. Reminiscent of the works of Robert Motherwell, Franz Kline, and Pierre Soulages this piece demands attention. Viewers will see a simple black mass painted over the white with a hint of teal in specific areas. I thought to cover up the teal and then decided that the immediacy of the work said more, and so this work is spontaneous, gestural, with minimal second pass adjustment. The painting continues along the edges of the canvas. The painting is signed on the back.

This painting has been created using professional acrylic paint. A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied to protect against UV light.

The work is ready to hang with wire attached and is sold unframed.
