Original artwork description:

I tried to reflect on canvas an iconic moment in Celtics history, just a few minutes before Paul Pierce, the Boston Celtics legend, was carried out in a wheelchair in the NBA Finals back in 2008.
The whole story caught my attention. Paul Pierce was rushed to the locker room after falling down awkwardly, making everyone wonder what could be so serious, only to return a few minutes later. He went on to play the entire series and he successfully led the Celtics to their new title and won himself the MVP of the NBA Finals award. 11 years later Pierce revealed that the famous wheelchair incident was because he had to go to the bathroom. What really happened nobody knows by this time except Paul Pierce.

I was inspired by this story. I was curious to feel all those emotions and pain of the moment and show them on canvas. Looking at the capture, we can only guess what all of them think and feel at that moment.

No matter what, at the end of all pain...is greatness.
