At the center of this work, the sensual and provocative woman, shrouded in an 'area of mystery, surreal, liquid color stains to discharge energies on the canvas. The mask to estrange herself from the real world, hide and reveal herself as in a magical ritual. The unknown, the mystery, the unconscious, in a woman's face looking from the outside at the other side of herself. This work, is part of the series " THE MIRROR AND THE MASK." The main inspiration for this work is the portrait, fascinating, side by side with a dark mask, the mask as an instrument of deception, but also as a tool for deepening self-knowledge. From the dark blackness appears an eye looking at us while holding in his hands a mask he uses to hide himself. Mixed techniques in a constant search for new balances by Ezio Ranaldi.
