When I lived in Berlin, I often walked in the Grunewald district. I have loved this place because of the special atmosphere of calm and relaxation. It was very important for me to find a place where I would feel at one with nature and rest my soul in a big city. Grunewald is surrounded by a forest and Berliners often rest there in good weather. But I loved this place during the cloudy time in the off-season. When the forest and the surrounding mansions are immersed in a pleasant slumber and the silence is broken only by the singing of birds and the noise of foliage.
In my painting The Tree of Dreams, I tried to convey the most unforgettable atmosphere of nature in the state of Daydreaming. Between sleeping and waking. Between reality and fiction
