I love painting market scenes and vendors selling their items. The cluttered background was painted loosely to keep the focus on the figure and the tomatoes.
This painting was done a long time ago. I did a little re-working presently to make it look better. Am satisfied with the result now.
This is painted on Indian handmade watercolour paper (Matt surface) 270 gsm using artist-grade paints. Signed and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
