In a small American town, I noticed this lovely white, timber-clad shop. It felt timeless, and above all American. I imagined lazy days of summer, with fruit pies and ice cream and heat-induced indolence. I loved the colour, the white, the blue. It is innocent and dream-like.
This painting is a wonderful souvenir of the United States and a great gift.

Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
