Original artwork description:

Watching the day's tide from the height of the abbey on the rock Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy is an unforgettable sight. Leaving the night at 18 kilometers from the coast, the North Sea is rapidly returning from the horizon, rising 15 meters - the most powerful tide in Europe. Long tongues of water quickly turn into violent flows. A few more minutes and the sandy bottom completely covered by the sea. If you are lucky with the weather and the sun is shining, then the mirror of the sea acquires the most unexpected shades. This work was extended for a long 9 months, but the painting was eventually born.

Materials used:

oil
