Ink painting created in traditional Japanese sumi-e wash painting technique with Chinese inks on archival paper. In expressionism style. Portrait of the philosopher in the process of thinking. Ink paintings by Alex Solodov are mostly the portraits. They are photo based images but in process of painting they are transformed into surreal images of “invaders” which can exist only between dream and reality.
