The peony is an amazingly beautiful bud that has long been considered the king of all flowers. The unique plant looks great in gardens, in bouquets, is used in medicine, and has more than 6,500 varieties, each of which differs in color, shape, and bud size.
China is considered to be the birthplace of peonies: it has been grown in this country for more than one and a half thousand years. That is why this flower was and remains a symbol of wealth and luxury, as well as longevity and good health. By the way, peonies are not associated with health by chance. It acquired such importance after the healing properties of the plant's roots were discovered.
