Original artwork description:

This painting reminded me more and more of a sea in storm the longer I worked on it. The dark, moody tones, churning water and sense of spiraling movement all contributed to the same ominous feeling one gets before a storm breaks. The figure at its centre feels lost, pulled in all directions and barely keeping afloat.

This work is painted on a deep- edged gallery wrapped canvas. The painting continues around the edge of the piece, meaning it may be hung unframed.

Materials used:

Acrylic on Canvas
