Original artwork description:

This is a section of my view while attending my Environmental Engineering classes at Otto Hahn building Saint Louis University Baguio City.

Baguio is known as the "City of Pines" but most of what I can see now are houses & buildings instead of trees. Urban sprawl has emerged as a striking characteristic of recent global urban development. Land use policies advocating
urban expansion for residential use to the detriment of a critical environment as in the case of Baguio City, Philippines,
have shaped and reinforced the urban sprawl phenomenon.

I drew this landscape study using my trusted mechanical pencil and charcoal in Fabriano paper in between class "breaks".
